Current Conditions
Temperature: 30°F
Feels Like: 20°F
Wind: 5 mph NE
Humidity: 88%

Today there was precipitation of one form or another falling all day. Snow was dominant in the morning with a transition to rain and freezing rain later in the day. The map below show some more snow moving our way from the west. An area of low pressure to our south, combined with the northeast wind wind direction suggests that we should see some more precipitation tomorrow, likely snow.

Today started off what looks to be a stretch of rainy/snowy weather that is likely to continue. The current conditions map below shows a large storm system heading our way from the west. It looks to be traveling along a stationary front that is tracking it directly toward the central Wisconsin area. The storm is producing rain at its eastern portion, transitioning to snow as it extends to the Dakotas. Precipitation will likely be largely snow over the next few days with some ice pellets and rain mixed in, mostly tonight and tomorrow.

Today's weather was very fitting for a Monday, cloudy and rainy. The current conditions map and the forecast for the rest of the week look to be more of the same, and worse... The jet stream is poised to bring a system in from the west-southwest is going to bring with it precipitation for likely the rest of the week. Colder temperatures will cause the precipitation to turn to snow around Wednesday and could continue into Friday. Not really the April weather most people are looking for. This storm system may be a nuisance for us, but it could drop almost two feet of snow over areas in the great plains so we should be grateful that the storm is expected to die down by the time it gets to us.

When I first made my way outside around 10 a.m. this morning, it seemed as if today picked up the nice weather right where yesterday left off. Clear skies and a temperature around 40 F made it seem like today was going to be beautiful. Well then the clouds moved in. The clouds made there way in quite fast as I didn't see any transition between clear skies with very patchy small clouds to stratus clouds covering the sky. The map below shows the cold air mass that moved south past us yesterday and a warm front to the west that is pushing north providing us with moisture. This moisture has unfortunately been precipitating as snow over the last hour or two. By the looks of it we could see some snow throughout the night with continued showers tomorrow. At least the temperature will be about the same as the last couple of days in the mid 40s.

In the words of the infamous Ice Cube, today was a good day. Clear sunny skies and a high of 47 made me feel like Summer is just around the corner. Tomorrow will likely be similar to today in temperature, but there could be some clouds moving in.

Wind: 6 mph S
Humidity: 33%

Today was a beautiful day in terms of weather. Mostly sunny with temperatures reaching 40 F made it feel like Spring is starting to set in. The high pressure over our area has brought us clear skies all week. That might change a little bit tonight into tomorrow morning. The map below shows an area of low pressure moving our way from the west. There cold front gaining on the warm front, creating an occluded front. The system looks to be a dying midlatitude cyclone. We could see some light snow overnight and maybe some rain showers in the morning. The temperature should continue to be nice, in the 40 F range.

Temperature: 25°F
Feels Like: 15°F
Wind: 4 mph WNW
Humidity: 46%

Today was a nice sunny day for the most part, but the temperature never got above freezing... Not what one would normally expect for the first day of April, but I suppose it was April Fools Day. More high pressure moving our way from the west should bring sunny skies for at least the next couple of days. More good news is that temperatures should steadily start to rise, maybe even hitting 50 F by the time Friday rolls around. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
