Yesterday's weather was very similar to the day prior, sunny with a high in the mid 30's. Today the weather has been virtually the same but the temperature has reached 40 F I believe. This continued nice sunny weather has been due to an omega high in the Jet Stream that can be seen in the image below. The omega high is moving through our area and we are currently on the back side. Looking at the sky a couple of minutes ago, I see that some cirrostratus clouds have moved in. These clouds combined with a significant SSE wind lead me to believe that precipitation will be in our forecast for the next 24 hours. Due to the temperatures being above the freezing point as of late, and the fact that the wind is coming from the south we could be seen some rain rather than snow.
