Yesterday started out with some flurries then was cloudy until early afternoon when the sun came out. Temperatures were in the mid 20's throughout the day. This morning when I went to work at 8 a.m. the temperature was quite cold, around -4 or -5. As the morning led into mid day the temperatures got up to the mid 20's similar to the last couple of days. Instead of the late-night/early-morning snow showers that have been common over the last week today there was snow between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the most part and produced around 2 inches of new snow. An area of low pressure in our area could bring some converging surface winds causing the air to rise and produce precipitation over tonight and tomorrow.
